USA Pro Cycling Challenge Comes to Montrose
August 20-26th 2012, the US Pro Cycling will be coming to Colorado. Montrose is proud to be a host city this year being the start of Stage 2 on August 21st with Crested Butte as the ending for that stage. In 2011, this race brought in 135 of the worlds top cycling athletes including Olympians, World Champions and Tour de France winners, racing 518 miles through the Rocky Mountains. This event has been considered “the most challenging race to ever be held on American soil.” We are excited because this also brought in nearly 1 million spectators for the 2011 race.
