Montrose Regional Airport maintains two long runways:

17/35 is 10,000’ by 150’ with an ILS on Runway 17
13/31 is 7,500 by 100’

Our mild weather is ideal for aviation. Summer highs average 82 degrees and winter highs around 42 degrees.

KMTJ’s annual precipitaton total is less than 10”, allowing for year-round VFR operations.
